five

there is no way in this lifetime
that i'll let this sem break
pass without some beach action.

the family and i had so much fun on the way there.

there where?
to santander and dumaguete.
santander is at the southern tip of my beloved cebu
while dumaguete is our neighbor province.

when we got to our resort in santander,
we took the very next boat ride to dumaguete.

we went to the famous sans rival and ate
because we were so hungry.
we also strolled along the boulevard.

we had dinner by the beach with the cool wind,
candles and soothing waves sound.

we went swimming early morning the next day.
boy was that fun.
the whole day was spent with me and
my sis getting some good tan.

in the afternoon, we went home.
the trip was not any less fun than
the whole adventure.

in the end, we came home with boxes and
boxes of sylvannas, yummy left over food,
so much fun, and lots of itchy invisible-sea-creature-bite marks.

went MIA for some time there huh.

maybe that's because i went out with my sister.
no special event.
just plain old powerful boredom.

no itinerary, no plans, no nothing.

we just had green mango-carrot shake,
lunch at siam-which i fell in love with,
bought several girly stuff,
and had break talk goodies.

boy! talk about sis bonding time!

boy, talk about negligence.

i have been just making up for all the lost fun days
due to school work.

i plan to spend my sem break getting back with tennis,
spending time with friends and family,
cooking-eating, karaoke, watching anything asian and reading manga.

i think i can also squeeze in some beach action.
and maybe a little trip to dumaguete which is still under negotiation.

just really having fun for now.
by the way,
the probable sked for my last sem in college
sucks.
a lot.
hate it.
grrrr.
its my last though.
hang on tight.

how perfect is it when
my blog turned100 posts old,
it also marked the end of first sem, senior year, eh?

but even when classes were over,
we had to go to school to attend a seminar
and submit our thesis proposal.

i was so bummed about it
that it was imperative that i dress happy.
hence the light airy dress.

say hello to my dear friend king who
decided to do more cameos.

we also had a celebratory family dinner
and wore the same thing.
we had so much fun
and we came home stuffed.

going 100 posts old

this is my hundredth post.
(yehey! confetti! fireworks!)

and to celebrate,
i will showcase my design for our practicum uniform-
the one that i haven't posted for ages.

i only did the dress version.
the pants and skirt-not mine.

lo and behold,
THE uniform.

the others are not here though.

and at the back, a school shuttle to
get us around our humongous school)

because of the cold habagat wind,
i am able to wear a cardigan and my stockings again-
without looking like a new yorker lost in L.A.

i used to wear my uniform with stockings but,
i ripped my only stockings and
was reduced to wearing none for sometime
until the colder weather.

going frilly

today i decided to wear pink despite me
not being a fan of it.

i felt uber girly especially with
the frills my skirt had.

i miss thrift shops and shopping.
but according to my budget,
i should be nowhere near one.

it's really that sad and depressing.

going stressed

stressed but happy.
tired but energetic.

how is that even possible?
i have good friends that surround me.

and my wardrobe is also on my side.

i have been busy with my thesis proposal and
practice teaching.

but even if it's one week too early to say,
it's all done.
